COOL AS HOTH

Recently watched The Force Awakens or Star Wars next gen. What a great movie. Well compared to the last three far far away galaxy adventures!
When buying tickets I asked for the cool stormtrooper styled 3D glasses.
Unfortunately they had completely sold out.
Fortunately the cinema manager overhear and informed me that she had pair in her office that I could have.
Unfortunately they had no lenses in them.
Not entirely sure how they would be of any help, if I had accept them I would have expected a full refund due to the fact that the 3D was faulty.


Not had chance to post much lately, but thought it was a good spot to post up my little Star Wars drawing from 2012, the joke might be on the weak side but look I  predicted Han Solos's demise many moons ago.

Its not often you see Han so low. 

POD PEOPLE --THEY LIVE!

Just imagine if the Invasion of the Body Snatcher really happened - some extra terrestrial spores carried on solar wind to this fair planet of ours , the plan to quietly colonize and take over the world,  but what if once their under-hand plan was on its way they discovered that the skull faced aliens from THEY LIVE were already here and hidden in the population!

FRIDAY 13th JASON VOORHEES

We just had another Friday 13th's come and go less than a week ago, that's the date not another movie that I'm taking about, so i thought I'd mark the occasion (slightly late) with a drawing of my favourite Jason, the one from the 3D Friday the 13th the final chapter.

R.I.P. GUNNAR HANSEN

Saddened to discover that Gunnar Hansen passed away on Saturday November 7th 21015, he died of pancreatic cancer at the age of 68.

Best know for playing the chainsaw revving killer Leatherface , Gunnar once said in an interview that he hoped his tomb would display the epitaph GUNNAR HANSEN : NOBEL PRIZE FOR LITERATURE  but recognised it would most likely say GUNNAR HANSEN : HE HAD HIS OWN ACTION FIGURE.  

                                   Snatched a little time today to sketch a tribute.

BLOOD OF FRANKENSTEIN

Another Frankenstein.

 This time from the movie BLOOD OF FRANKENSTEIN.

I confess I've never had the opportunity  to seen it and to be truthfully brutal I  don't really have much of a need to,  I was really struck by that ugly mashed mush look that this version of the doctors handiwork had in photographs I came across in a horror film book. Liked the freakishness so much I had to draw up a likeness in my pad. (From what I gather from reading reviews the film sucks, be warned! )
